Successful RIH of a 324 mm Casing String under Complex Geological and Drilling Conditions of the Astrakhanskoye Field, Using the BULAT-324.D Hydraulic Reaming Shoe and Casing String Running System
When implementing the project for RusGazBureniye LLC, TSS LLC successfully ran an intermediate 324 mm casing string into AGCF Well No.452 characterized by complex geological and drilling conditions, using the BULAT-324.D Reaming Shoe and Casing String Running System (CSRS).

The Astrakhan Gas Condensate Field (AGCF) is characterized by a number of problems consisting in stickings, losses of circulation during RIH, instability of the borehole walls prone to sloughing and caving. In the course of casing string running, the BULAT-324.D shoe was used to ream complicated intervals adding up to 170.5m in length, the total circulation time being 50.58 hours.

Owing to the reliability of our equipment and high professionalism of TSS LLC's engineers, the casing string was run down to the design depth of 2,880.5 m, which made it possible to implement the Customer's design solutions and ensure reliable insulation of the overlying formations.
